Ways to pay for your plan

Payment methods

We offer fast, simple and secure payments – so you can be confident you’ve always got the cover you need.
We accept VISA or Mastercard for monthly recurring payments.

Simply add your card details via myPortal. You only need to do this once and then your bill will be automatically paid on the due date.

If you haven’t yet added a card and wish to pay this way, please add your card details at least one month before the next payment due date.

For all card payments, please do ensure that the card’s credit limit is enough to cover your monthly payments.

For credit cards: Simply set up a payment via myPortal.

For debit cards: Contact your bank for an auto-debit facility activation. If you want to add a new debit card, please ensure it’s activated with your bank for e-commerce transactions. If your card hasn’t been activated, we’ll be unable to collect your contribution so you’ll need to contact your bank in order to ensure continued coverage.

You can make one-off payments via FPX (the money will be debited straight from your bank account) or via the eWallet in myPortal

Simply head to the myPortal payment guide which can be accessed here: www.fwd.com.my/myPortal/

Using FPX via myPortal:

  1. Click ‘Online Payment’ from the Certificate eService sub-menu on myPortal.
  2. Click ‘Renewal Payment’ to make a one-time payment.
  3. The system will send a 6 digit one-time password (OTP) to your registered mobile number in order to authorise the request.
  4. Enter the OTP, click the checkbox once you’ve read the ‘Term & Conditions’ and click the ‘make payment’ button.
  5. You’ll be directed to the iPay88 page where you can select your preferred bank. Click the ‘Proceed’ button and you’ll be directed to your preferred bank’s online banking portal. Enter the 6-digit TAC code which will be sent via SMS once you’ve verified the payment details.
  6. The system will display payment acknowledgement upon successful transaction once you click ‘submit’.

Using the eWallet via myPortal:

  1. Click ‘Online Payment’ from the Certificate eService sub-menu.
  2. Click ‘Renewal Payment’ to make a one-time payment.
  3. The system will send a 6-digit one-time password (OTP) to your registered mobile number in order to authorise the request.
  4. Enter the OTP, click the checkbox once you’ve read the ‘Term & Conditions’ and click the ‘make payment’ button.
  5. You’ll be directed to the iPay88 page where you can select eWallet as your payment option. Click the ‘Proceed’ button and you’ll be directed to your eWallet account. Click ‘Confirm payment’ once you’ve verified the payment details. 

We’ll confirm your payment via email within two working days. You'll then be able to download your official receipt from the ‘My Certificate Files’ tab in myPortal. Alternatively, you can refer to the total contribution under the ‘Certificate Details’ tab.

JomPAY is available for bill payments as long as you’ve signed up for internet banking with your bank. 

You can make one-off payments or set a recurring contribution via JomPAY.

To set this up, you’ll need your certificate number. You can find this on your certificate or via myPortal.   

Please note that JomPAY is not available for your very first payment on a newly bought certificate.

Fill in biller code and name

If your certificate number is an 8-digit number (no letters) and begins with “2” or “9”, please use the following biller information:

  • Biller code: “42564”
  • Biller code name: “FWD Takaful Berhad-2”

For all other certificate numbers (these will be alphanumeric – using numbers and letters) please use the below biller information. Note that these will begin with “T”, “C”, “L”, “B” or “E” and will then be followed by a 7-digit number,

  • Biller code: “94201”
  • Biller code name: “FWD Takaful Berhad-1”

Fill in Ref-1 and Ref-2

  • Ref-1: your certificate number.
  • Ref-2: your registered mobile number.

We’ll confirm your payment via email within three working days. You'll then be able to download your official receipt from the ‘My Certificate Files’ tab in myPortal. Alternatively, you can refer to the total contribution under the ‘Certificate Details’ tab.
